The falls also has a grand casino - so does Sarnia, for those who wish to try their luck. Looking to the north/west there is at the city of Thunder Bay, where the famous world war 11 De Havilland Mosquito was built. For the scuba enthusiasts, there are various historic shipwrecks to visit at various sites in the Great Lakes area. Flying season in south western Ontario usually runs from March through November. December, January and February are the months when the weather is severely cold and unpredictable. However, when clear it is fun to observe and experience the higher performance obtained from your airplane as it slices through the dense, cold atmosphere! |
